The CML ratings are determined by the AUC levels. They are traceable to long standing research and documented in publications from the WHO and CDC. They are not new. They are just difficult to accept by some building owners. As time moves on it will become clear that buildings must return to pre 1970s energy crisis ventilation levels. Previously people would get sick but now they can die, so this is a critical challenge in this new century. This Project Statistics visualization is a tool to help make the correct choices moving forward.
Remember it is not about cubic feet per minute (CFM) per person it is about making sure the air is updated with clean air as often as possible. CFM Per Person Versus CFM Per Room
In the ideal building or collection of buildings like a school district every item in the report will be Green. There will be no Red, Orange, or Yellow Entries. This is the case for elite facilities. They have the money to achieve these levels of performance. Other facilities are challenged but they can develop transition plans to eventually move their facilities into the Green areas over time.
For those that want to argue about the CML levels that are determined from AUC levels found in the building site surveys, realize that the arguments just refute established research developed in the last century by people who understood the consequences of deadly contagions in physical spaces. They established the acceptable AUC levels based on science and empirical data. They were successful at eliminating most deadly contagions by the end of the century. There is nothing to invalidate. The findings are correct. The BCMC provides the visualization and in most cases work needs to be performed.

CML: Contagion Mitigation Level
CMLm: Contagion Mitigation Level after mitigation technologies has been applied
CC: Ventilation Controls Level (systems work only if they are turned on and not compromised)
AUC: Air update changes or Air changes per hour
