24. Comments | High efficiency particulate filters (MERVE 14 removes aerosolized particles and particulate matter – PM2.5) and Ultraviolet Photo Catalytic Oxidation (UV PCO) outdoor air filtration systems installed in most new buildings. Air Handling Units (AHUs) run in full economizer mode to maximize use of outdoor air for most of the year and to minimize the use of recirculated indoor air. Humidity levels are set within 40-60% range, per ASHRAE guidance, to limit the spread of aerosolized COVID-19 particles. The airport has deployed indoor air quality sensors at key location in the Airport terminals to confirm that the air quality is maintained at healthy and safe levels.https://www.flysfo.com/environment/air-quality, https://www.flysfo.com/environment/healthy-buildings-healthy-people |
